Summary
Model railway locomotive. A 5in. (127mm.) gauge live steam model, made by Alfred William Barnett in 1887, of the London & North Western Railway Company 2-2-2 locomotive 'Albany', built at Crewe around 1860. The locomotive has two outside cylinders and all wheels have inside bearings. A round-topped firebox is fitted and the smokebox sides extend to cover the cylinders. A primitive cab is provided. The model is finished in black with red and grey lining. The chimney, cab and boiler fittings are polished brass.
