Summary
Model railway locomotive tender. A 5in. (127mm.) gauge model of an eight-wheeled bogie tender, Midland Railway No. 2601, coupled to the steam locomotive 'Princess of Wales', built by apprentices at the Royal Ordnance Factory, Chorley. The bogies have outside bearings. There is a rail around the coal bunker area. The livery is 'Midland red' with yellow lining, bright red buffer beam, black bogies and wheels, and the number '2601' is carried on each side.
