Summary
Railway carriage. A four wheeled 1ft. 10 3/4in. gauge passenger railway carriage seating fourteen people and provided for a visit to the quarry by the Prince and Princess of Wales in 1894. It was subsequently used by Lord Penrhyn. There are five equal windows and a door on each side. The seats are finished in blue leather cloth. Floor mats and curtains are provided. A wooden handle is fitted on the inside to operate the handbrake. The body is all of timber construction. The running gear is of cast iron construction and leaf springing is provided. The livery is cream on the upper panels and blue/black on the lower, with gold and vermillion lining.
