Summary
Longcase clock with an 8 day movement. Painted dial with Arabic numerals, and with subsidiary dials for date (hand missing) and seconds inside the chapter ring, as well as two winding holes and a painted inscription with the maker's name and place of manufacture, Fox, Beverley. Above the dial to the arch is painted a Regency period girl in red wearing a turban and holding a garland, and there are painted shell spandrels to the corners. In a mahogany case on a plinth base with canted sides to the trunk, with a pagoda top to the hood with two brass ball and spire finials and fluted columns with brass capitals and bases flanking the dial.
