Caption
A fragment of a leather worker’s shoes discovered at Aberdulais.
Summary
Leather heel upper. This fragment has been conserved and identified as coming from one boot which, judging from the slight iron stains and the appearance of the leather, was probably steel toe capped to protect the workers from the sharp metal sheets.
