Summary

Rectangular ceramic lustreware box and cover, with butterfly and mottled red, black and gold decoration. Maker's mark in gold incorporating the image of a crown on the underside reads; DEVON / SYLVAN LUSTREWARE / FIELDING'S / STOKE ON TRENT / MADE IN ENGLAND.
