Summary

Stand from a set of four fire-irons and stand. Stand has rectangular plate base standing on four splayed feet. Vertical shaft fixed to centre of base, surmounted with cruciform hangers, each ending in a hook shape. Above, an open heart-shaped lifting handle.

Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
