Summary
Print, engraving, Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun (Paris 1755 – Paris 1842) and her daughter (after Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun) by F. Laguillionie. Engraving of woman with child. Immediately below is engraving of floral sprig at left and at right a signature; Laguillionie. The picture frame is gold painted relief surounded by black lacquered wood, and by further gold painted fluted edging. On the lower edge of the frame there are two small wooden shields, one a red cross on white ground, the other a white cross on a red shield. Two labels on back. Top on reads; BRITISH RED CROSS SOCIETY / AND / ORDER OF ST.
