Coloured print of map of County of Somerset, showing features. Top left hand quarter shows sea with sailing ship, islands and fish monster. Red and yellow decorative inset, inside which is written in black; SOMERSETTENSIS / Comitatus, Vulgo Somersett Shyre / Qui olim pars suit. Belgar. VM. Bottom left has numeric scale set within gold coloured fitting. Along the top, brown and white boxes with numbers under. Below; Christophorus Saxton descripsitt, William Kip Sculp. Frame is ebonsied wood with gold coloured banks on edges. On reverse, wood backing attached to frame with beige sticky paper.
