Summary
Hand coloured print. Scene is of a classical style colonnade with three rounded arched gateways. The larger central arch has a frieze along the top depicting galloping horses and a chariot. The colonnade is set in front of parkland and trees in the distance with each arch having a decorative wrought iron gate which is open. There are a number of people on foot and on horse back. A scene of leisure pursuits in period dress. In black ink on white paper, inside a decorative border is printed; ALFRED DAVIS / ESTABLISHED 1860. / DEALER IN OLD ENGRAVINGS / 17, KING'S ROAD, SLOANE SQUARE.
