Summary
Print coloured engraving, The River Avon with Redcliffe Church, Bristol by William Watts (London 1752 - Cobham 1851). Entitled, THE RIVER AVON, with REDCLIFFE CURCH, BRISTOL. At the left side immediately below the picture is written, Pub. by R. Bowyer, London, 1819. On the right side is written, W. Watts Sculpt, / Proof. On the back there is a white paper label printed in black and annotated in red ink reading, FROST (and) REED / (STUDIOS) LTD / BRISTOL LONDON / CLARE STREET / 41 NEW BOND ST. W1 / ARTISTIC FRAME MAKERS ESTABLISHED 1808 / FINE ART PUBLISHERS. PICTURE REPARATION No 4486 Date 20.7.55 / LORD WRAXALL. The frame is ebonised with a gilt egde and inner edge. The single mount is decorated with a line border.
