Summary
An ovular silver inkstand, Sharman Dermott Neil, Chester, with a hinged tortoiseshell lid raised on scrolled feet with flower centres, a leather base with lead lining, containing sponge rubber and two cut glass ink pots. Engraved "Presented to Edith Marchioness of Londonderry by the Lady Mayoress of Belfast, Lady Tuner) and the wives of the members of the Coporation of the luncheon given to the Marquess of Lononderry in the City Hall on the occasion of his retirement from the position of alderman for St. Anne's ward and his resignation of the office of Minister of Education of the Government of Northern Ireland 6th Feb 1926"
