Summary
A Victorian dressing case, containing glass and silver-mounted bottles, Thomas Johnson, London, 1853, the brass bound rosewood case has a hinged lid and removable tray, it is fitted with eleven glass bottles with engine-turned and foliate mounts and centred initials A.E.C.L., (brass reverse to lid is missing). Adelaide Emelina Caroline, daughter of Charles, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry married Rev. Frederick Henry Law in 1852.
