Summary
A Victorian silver freeedom casket, Vaughton & Sons, retailed by Sharman D. Neill of Belfast, Birmingham, 1899, of oblong coffer shape, drop front, applied on one side with the arms of Belfast in enamels and on the other with the arms of the Marquesss of Londonderry and inscribed around the lid, with entwined Celtic ornamented borders and applied cabochans, bracket feet and further enamels, containing the address and presentation. (Drop ring handles detached and circular painted panels all faulty).
