Summary
The lid for one of a set of three George III silver seal boxes, Hannah Northcote, London, 1813, converted by Sebastien Crespell, London 1854 into casket inkstands, on button supports, the lids engraved with the royal arms, with the arms of Robert Stewart, 2nd Marquess of Londonderry inside. The sides are engraved "Viscount Castlereagh 1815" and "Robert Stewart 2nd Marquess of Londonderry" (Slightly dented).

Accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2013
