Summary
One of a set of seven Victorian silver dessert baskets, J.B. Carrington, London, 1899, in 18th century Dutch style, the oval bodies are engraved with the monogram of Viscount Castlereagh and pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage and flowers between cast rims.

Accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2013
