Summary
A cover from a pair of George III silver soup tureens and covers, William Stevenson, London, 1803, with detachable liners, Robert Garrard, 1856, all London. The almost hemispherical bodies are engraved on one side with the arms of the Marquess of Londonderry and on pedestal feet, angular handles and reeded shell and strapwork borders, the domed covers have crest finials (one lacking).
