Summary
Two mahogany occasional tables, possibly originally parts of different quartetto sets, British, 19th century, the first with a rectangular table top inlaid with two rows of boxwood stringing to the edges, the centre inlaid with a small oval containing a marquetry shell, on four square-section and turned slender legs, each pair of legs supported on a long arched base, these bases joined by a plain stretcher; the second table with a rectangular table top with a raised border near the edge of the table top, on four slender turned legs, each pair of legs on an arched base, the bases joined by a plain stretcher.
