Summary
An oak drop-leaf table, adapted from a gateleg table, British or Irish, 19th century, the rectangular table top with a single drop-leaf hinged to one long edge, the drop-leaf of rectangular form with canted outer corners, on four turned and block-section legs with shaped feet, joined by moulded low positioned stretchers, the drop-leaf supported on a swing-action gateleg formed of two turned and block-section legs joined by plain stretchers.
