Summary

Two fire chutes - Pram-shaped round tubular metal frame without base. With curved handle for attaching to building. Covered with double skin of black painted linen or cotton fabric. Damaged. Linen/cotton chute attached to front of frame open at top with rope passing through the frame and a loop at either end.

Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
