Summary
A boxwood-strung mahogany fire screen stand, British, circa 1880, of George III style, the rectangular glazed frame above a rectangular shelf supported on shaped brackets affixed to square-section uprights, the uprights joined by a stretcher and each mounted on a splayed base with shaped feet.

Accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2013
