Summary
A Bristol Blenheim I, an assembled and handpainted 'Skybird' model aircraft. Kit number 18B, 1937. Upper surfaces brown and green camouflage, black underneath. Red white blue and yellow RAFD roundels on upper wing surfaces and fuselage. Black propellers. Section missing from right wing root. Slit on front underside of cockpit. Number 43 of a large collection of one hundred and thirty four painted wood and early plastic 'Skybird' aircraft models and others, mostly 1930s to 1940s.
