Summary
A Morane Saulnier MS.406, an assembled and handpainted 'Skybird' model aircraft. Kit number 9A, 1939. Dark green and dark brown camouflage above, pale blue below, black propeller. Blue white and red roundels on upper and lower wing surfaces, blue white and red stripes on tailfin. Marked MS.406. Number 22 of a large collection of painted wood and early plastic 'Skybird' aircraft models and others, mostly 1930s to 1940s.
