Summary
A fine George III Macassar ebony toilet box with 18ct gold mounted fittings, John Deacon, London, 1819. Engraved with initials EAC below a Viscountess's coronet for Emily Anne Castlereagh, within leafy borders, comprising thirteen cut-glass boxes or jars with gold lids and fittings, two gold mounted red leather pin cushions, on eight piece gold, mother-of-pearl and steel manicure set, a gold and mother-of-pearl pen knife and a gold propelling pencil with amethyst matrix, two fitted drawers below containing a pair of ivory hairbrushes, a double comb and a clothes brush.
