Etching black on white paper, sitting portrait of a gentleman holding a newspaper, white paper mount. Text below reads; Painted by William Boxall, R.A. / Engraved by Samuel Cousins, R.A. / London Published July 20th 1864, by Holloway and Son. 25 Bedford Street Strand. Simple gilt frame with lined border. Label on backing paper handwritten in black ink reads; Mrs Gibbs / Bed Room / M N 21. Another printed label reads; J.H. CHANCE / Carver, Gilder, / and / PRINT SELLER / FITZROY SQUARE. / Pictures Cleaned and Restored, / DRAWINGS MOUNTED and COPIED IN PHOTOGRAPHY.
