Summary
Vase. Large, Chinese style, baluster shape porcelain, with domed lid and knop. Off white body decorated in green with white outline prints of Morris Cars under a clear glaze. On-glaze hand painting in brown of Lord Nuffield lighting his pipe, and of arms. Around neck of vase, a band of gilt and a decoration of cog wheel outlines. Around bottom, brown on-glaze motoring signs for Morris, MG, and Morris Commercial.The lid has a white interior, gilded lip, green dome with brown painted knop.
