Summary
Circular bronze plaque with raised motifs on both sides. One side is labelled Wingfield Morris Orthopaedic Hospital with an image of people walking and throwing away their crutches. To the reverse is a profile portrait of Gathorne Robert Girdlestone, who was Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at New College Oxford and director of the hospital. Signed Benno Elkan (1877-1960)
