Summary
Watercolour on paper, View of a Garden Path with Herbaceous Borders by The Reverend Arthur Gregory Kayll (1901 - 1990), signed. The artist was a friend of the Morris's when he arrived in England from New Zealand in 1932. He later became a chaplain for the RAF and married Elizabeth Fielden after a spell in Bagdad during the war. Ornate wood and gilded plaster frame.
Provenance
Bequeathed by Lord Nuffield to Nuffield College in 1963; Nuffield Place was gifted to the National Trust on 1st July 2011.
