Summary
Portable wind-up gramophone with felt covered turntable and chromium plated edge, with chromium plated playing head. Right hand front corner fitted with bakelite pull out tray containing two brass needles. Hinged lid held by sliding bracket. Lockable attache-case type of fastening. In centre of underside of the lid is a trademark reading, HIS MASTER'S VOICE / THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY LTD, HAYES MIDDLESEX. An additional plate inside the lid reads, SUPPLIES BY / HARRODS / LTD / LONDON / NO 45707. Wooden case covered in leatherette. Carrying handle on one side; four studs on other. Metal winding handle attached to inside of case to left side.
