Septr. 1861 / R H Cheney. Lacking frame but with detached backboard having a paper label inscribed in script, Alnwick Castle, Septr 1861. / The view is taken from about a few feet / lower down the Stream, than the suspension bridge. / In this taken in a little more just outwards of the castle but in no other aspects differs from the / view of the suspension bridge.
