Summary
A sprung metal seat squab (frame) with stuffed textile front edge from an Austin 12 car. The incomplete items are enough to identify the car as a four cylinder, 12 horsepower Austin, and the unusual door shape indicates that the car was a convertible, probably an Austin 12/4 coupe model of circa 1928.
Provenance
Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
