Summary
A late Victorian, drum shaped ornamentally turned box and cover, probably rosewood, by Antony Gibbs, dated 1880. The jar has hobnail facets to the body and the cover has swirled patterns with a lobed rim. The underside has a circular paper label reading; A. Gibbs, FECIT. A further label dated by hand reads; 1880.
