Summary
Drawing. A coloured drawing of a full-length profile of, Sir Charles Gould Morgan-Robinson, 2nd Bt. MP (1760-1846) by Richard Dighton (London 1795 – London 1880), c1850. Wearing a frock coat and top hat, walking to the right against an undefined exterior background. His hands are in his pockets, and a handkerchief trails from one pocket. His trousers and waistcoat are coloured a pale blue. Within a gilt, rectangular, glazed frame.
Provenance
Part of the collection on loan to the National Trust from Newport Museum and Galleries. In March 2012 the National Trust took over the management of Tredegar House with its contents and its 90 acres of gardens and parkland, from Newport City Council for a period of 50 years.
