Summary
Key with oval shaped top bow and oval hole. Stamped; HOBBS and Co, LONDON / LEVER. The shank is tubular with 3 excised circular rings near the top and the teeth are flat. A piece of string is knotted to the top and threaded through a paperclip with a folded piece of stationery attached. Carries embossed seal of: THE TREASURY. S.W. / 12 DOWNING STREET S.W. 1. Stamped below; THE RIGHT HONOURABLE LORD WRAXALL, P.C. Labelled on reverse in pencil; KEYS OF THE BLACK TIN / BOX.
