Summary
Pot. A small, black cast iron saucepan, one and a half pints with convex body and hexagonal handle with ribbed junction piece, by Cannon Hollow-ware Co Ltd. Handle has sheared off from body, 25 April 2016, and where the pot had been filled with water, large amounts of rust has formed on the interior of the base.
Provenance
Part of the collection on loan to the National Trust from Newport Museum and Galleries. In March 2012 the National Trust took over the management of Tredegar House with its contents and its 90 acres of gardens and parkland, from Newport City Council for a period of 50 years.
