Summary

Fire tongs. A brass set of tongs, one of a set of three fire-irons, 1850-1900. The arms consisting of two brass rods with serrated pincers, swivelling from a wheel, surmounted by a bulbous, four-sided finial handle. The accompanying two fire-irons are catalogue nos. TH/M/356 and 357
