Summary
Figurine . A black spelter, Galatea (?), 1850-1900. A black cast female figurine on a circular base. She stands on the stern of a sinking boat, a wreath of flowers and leaves on her hair with one arm is extended upwards, holding the end of a banner or swathe of material, which streams in an arc above her head.
