Summary
Chiffonier. A walnut chiffonier with a marble top, 19th century. Surmounted by a narrow horizontal back mirror with a shelf above and canopy, each supported on turned baluster supports. The lower stage’s top has a curved frieze adorned at the centre and at each end with carved paterae design. The base is formed by two cupboard doors with recessed panels, concealing a cupboard with an adjustable shelf. The cupboard is flanked by two columns ending in large claw feet.
