Summary
Slops bowl. A bone china slops bowl, with slightly fluted sides. The bowl is decorated with a floral pattern in yellow and orange both on the inside and outside of the bowl. The transfer and hand painted decoration in applied over a low relief floral and linear pattern. There is gilding to the rim and swag like shapes around the edge of the bowl. The slops bowl is part of an incomplete dinner or tea service by H.M. Williamsons & Sons, 'Trellis' pattern, c1900. The service comprises of teacups, saucers, tea plates, milk jug and slops bowl.

Part of the collection on loan to the National Trust from Newport Museum and Galleries.
