Summary
A competition card is printed on yellow card with the text in black ink. The card has been folded in half. The wording on the front cover reads 'Strabane Men's Club Watch Guessing Competition. Prize - Lady's or Gent's Gold Watch. A watch will be wound up and placed in a sealed case, and will be deposited in a safe by the committee on Thursday, 21st Sept 1937. The case will be opened by John Perry, Esq. J.P. on Friday, 24th Sept 1937 at 9 o'clock. The person signing at exact time at which the watch stops will be declared the winner. In the event of the exact time not being signed the watch will be presented to nearest effort before exact time. The signing of this card is an acknowledgement of one penny as a donation to above club. Each space of 5 seconds, one penny. Cards to be returned no later than 17th Sept 1937 to W. H. Cargo, Abercorn Square, Strabane. Winner to be notified by post. Gray Printer, Strabane.
