Summary
A Berlin cabinet plate with Mercury in a chariot drawn by two cockerels within a chased gilt border with anthemion, scales and foliage, circa 1810, blue sceptre mark, painter's cross and circle in black, gilder's inverted S. One of a set of thirty six Berlin cabinet plates, thirty one circular and five oval each with a different designs.
