Summary
A Viennese gilt-metal-mounted dress sabre the steel blade with parcel-gilt, partly damascened fullered blade with cabalistic inscription in panels, gold-mounted lapis grip with pommel set with green stone and cast with masks, the leaf-capped scrolling guard bright-cut with scrolling foliage, the blue leather scabbard with gold paw clasps to the rings and end cast and chased with martial trophies and oak leaves on a pounced ground, marked A.807 and AR mullet between in rectangle, a shield with A.3 with corrugations above and beneath late 19th Century
