A Hungarian dress sabre with chased silver-mounted hilt and black velvet- covered scabbard with foliate-chased mounts set with turquoises, the pommel cast with a crocodile and the quillon tips cast with snarling leopard heads, the steel blade stamped with a crescent. 19th Century
