Pencil and watercolour on paper, Lady Frances Anne (née Vane-Tempest), later Countess Vane and Marchioness of Londonderry (1800-1865) by Johann Nepomuk Ender (Vienna 1793 - Vienna 1854), signed and dated, lower left: Joh. Ender 1820. A full-length portrait of the daughter of Sir Henry Vane-Tempest, 2nd Baronet and the second wife of Charles Vane, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry whom she married in 1819. Through her daughter, Lady Frances Vane, wife of John Churchill, 7th Duke of Marlborough, she was the great-grandmother of Sir Winston Churchill.
