Summary
A woollen man’s tie, with a manufacturer’s label reading ‘Liberty of London’. The main fabric is an open plain weave, printed with a stylised floral/foliate pattern predominantly in dark green on a black ground. The lining is plain weave ivory rayon. Machine-stitched.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
