Summary
A man’s tie of silk crepe. Printed with embellished stripes in dark green, salmon and ivory. The cream-coloured polyester lining is weave-patterned with repeating swirl motifs and the manufacturer’s name, ‘Vakko’. The tie is hand-stitched.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
