Summary
A man’s silk tie, by Liberty. Printed with tessellating concentric lozenges in navy blue, orange and white and hand-stitched. Lined with mustard-coloured plain weave silk.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.

Underside: “Liberty / of London / ALL SILK / MADE IN ENGLAND” - blue and silver script on white. Underside: “ALL SILK / HAND MADE / IN ENGLAND” – machine embroidered in gold script on black.
