Summary
A grey cashmere and wool man’s overcoat, with a twill weave lining, orange/pink shot with grey. The coat fastens with three black plastic buttons, only two of which are extant, and similar buttons trim the cuffs. There is a pocket at each front hip, and two inside pockets (one at the left breast and another at the hip). There is a centre back vent. The manufacturer’s label reads ‘M. L. Domenech’ for ‘HOUSE of CROMWELL’.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
