Summary
A woven woollen man’s tie, with a manufacturer’s label reading Liberty. Printed with a stylised foliate pattern in blue, brown, green and black, with a cream lining, probably polyester.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.

Underside: “LIBERTY” – machine embroidered in silver script on black. Underside: “WOOL / MADE IN ENGLAND” – machine embroidered in white script on black.
