Summary

A historic heating system comprising of a pressure guage for the steam boiler marked Schiffer and Bidenberg, Birkaus Magdeberg and Manchester 1327917 steel holder with glass tube. There are fairly extensive remains of the coal gas installation that dates from the 1870s and steam boiler for electricity generation in the gas house. See Archaeological Survey W.L. Matthews 1989 (extracts with photographs).
